The buyer receives a private activation link rather than a card number. Opening it, entering the cardholder details and passing a short identity check issues the card immediately — the number, expiry date and CVV appear on the spot. It spends anywhere Mastercard is accepted online, and can be topped up later from its own card page.
To activate your card:
1. Open your activation link.
2. Enter the cardholder name and contact details.
3. Complete the identity check on the same page.
4. The card is issued immediately — its number, expiry date and CVV are shown to you there.
5. Save the card to your account so it is not lost with the link.

Virtual card for online use, wherever Mastercard is accepted. It is not a credit card: only the loaded balance can be spent and the balance cannot go negative.
Card issuing is regulated. The cardholder must give their name and pass an identity check before the card is created; a card is not issued until that check clears.
The activation link is valid for 60 days from delivery. One card is issued per link.
These merchant categories are not supported and may cause the card to be terminated: gambling, betting or lottery services; cryptocurrency purchases or exchanges; money transfers, remittance or e-wallet loading; adult content and dating services; gift card or prepaid card resellers. The activation page always shows the current list.
The card can be reloaded from its own card page. Fees for a later load are shown before it is confirmed.
