Redeem a PlayStation gift card in PlayStation Store under Redeem Code, on a PlayStation account in the card's country or region.
Redeem the code in PlayStation Store under Redeem Code, on a PlayStation account whose country or region matches the card. The value is added to your PlayStation wallet.
01Before you start
- Check the country or region of your PlayStation account. PlayStation says the code must be for the same region as your account.
- Sign in to the account that should receive the value. PlayStation does not transfer funds between accounts.
- Copy the code from your order page with the Copy button. PlayStation Store codes have 12 digits.
02In a web browser
- 1Go to PlayStation Store on playstation.com and sign in.
- 2Select your profile at the top of the screen.
- 3Select Redeem Code from the drop-down menu.
- 4Enter the 12-digit code and select Continue.
03On a PS5 console
- 1Go to PlayStation Store and press the triangle button to open the menu.
- 2Select the More option (three dots), then Redeem Code.
- 3Enter the 12-digit code and select Redeem.
04On a PS4 console
- 1Go to PlayStation Store, scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and select Redeem Codes.
- 2Enter the 12-digit code and select Continue, then confirm.
05In PlayStation App
- 1Select the PS Store icon, then the menu icon at the right side of the screen.
- 2Select Redeem Code.
- 3Enter the 12-digit code and select Continue.
06If that did not work
- A region message: your PlayStation account is in a different country or region from the card. See Why can I not use my gift card in my country?.
- Invalid code: copy it again from your order page and check all 12 digits. See My gift card code is not working.
- Already redeemed: a code can be used once. Check your transaction history in PlayStation's Account Management first. See My gift card code says it was already redeemed.
