How long do I have to pay?

You have 30 minutes to pay. With the two TON methods, TON Connect and Tonkeeper, you have 15 minutes. This time limit is called the payment window.

01Where to see the time left

The payment screen shows Expires in with a countdown. If you left the page, open your order page and select Complete payment to see the same payment and countdown. Always follow the countdown you see: for some payments it can be shorter than the times above.

Your order is reserved while you pay.

02Why there is a limit

Crypto prices move. The amount on the payment screen is calculated for that payment, so it is only kept for a limited time.

03What counts as paying in time

Exchange pay and wallet apps

confirm the payment inside the app before the countdown ends.

On-Chain

send the transfer before the countdown ends. If the network is still confirming it when the countdown reaches zero, the page keeps checking and moves on when the payment is confirmed.

04What happens when the window closes

• The payment screen shows Payment window expired. An On-Chain payment also shows "This address has expired".
• If nothing was sent, nothing was charged. The unpaid order is then closed automatically and its status changes to Failed. You can choose another method or order again.
• Important: do not send money to an expired address or pay an expired request.
