Can I choose my own gift card amount?

2 min readPublished 5 Oct 2026

Some cards have fixed values, some let you enter your own amount within a range, and some offer both. The card page shows which.

It depends on the card. Some gift cards are sold in fixed values, some let you enter your own amount within a range, and some offer both. The card page shows what is available under Choose a value or Choose your amount.

01Fixed values

  1. 1Open the card and look under Choose a value.
  2. 2Select a value. The large figure is the card value. The small figure is what you pay.
  3. 3If the card has many values, select the link that starts with See all to open the full list.
  4. 4A value shown as Unavailable cannot be bought at the moment.

02Your own amount

  1. 1Find Or choose your own amount, or Choose your amount on a card that has no fixed values. The page shows the range, for example "Any amount between 10 and 500" followed by the card's currency.
  2. 2Type the amount, use the minus and plus buttons, drag the slider, or select one of the Quick amounts when the card offers them.
  3. 3The line under the field shows the card amount and what you pay.
  4. 4Amounts are whole numbers. If the amount is outside the range, the page asks you to enter an amount between the minimum and the maximum.

03Quantity

Use Quantity to buy several cards of the same value. Each card has a limit per order. It is stated in the question Can I buy several cards at once? on the card page. For larger volumes, see What is KryptoMate Wholesale?.

04What to expect

  • The amount is in the card's currency, which may not be US dollars.
  • Each card is a separate code. Three cards of 10 are three codes, not one code of 30.
  • A value that is not offered on the card page cannot be made for that card. Choose another value or another card.

Important: Check the value before you pay. Under our Refund Policy, a card bought in the wrong value by your own selection is not refundable.
