Sign in to Steam and enter the code on Steam's page Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code. The value is added to your Steam Wallet and can be used for purchases on Steam.
01Before you start
- Read the Terms tab on the card's product page. A Steam card can carry a region or currency condition, for example that it is meant for accounts whose wallet uses the card's currency.

02Steps
- 1Copy the code from your order page with the Copy button.
- 2Go to store.steampowered.com/account/redeemwalletcode.
- 3Sign in to the Steam account that should receive the value. You must be signed in to redeem.
- 4Paste the code into the code field and continue.
- 5Check your Steam Wallet balance.
03What to expect
Steam's redeem page says that gift cards and wallet codes are converted to the currency of your Steam Wallet when you redeem them. Steam decides this from your account. We cannot convert a card or move it to another account.
04If that did not work
- A region or currency message: compare the card's Terms tab with your Steam account's country and wallet currency. See Why can I not use my gift card in my country?.
- Steam says the code is invalid: copy the code again with Copy on your order page instead of typing it. See My gift card code is not working.
- Already redeemed: check your Steam Wallet balance first. See My gift card code says it was already redeemed.
- You wanted a card for another platform: see I bought the wrong product or region. Can I get a refund?.
