By collecting pigs descending with parachutes you fill up the special lard meter, and if you destroy enemies with your lard attack, they will drop medals shaped like a pig’s head. It features bosses from Ibara as playable characters, which is a cool and interesting twist. What defines Pink Sweets the most, however, is its combat system. If you hold down the fire button you will continuously shoot, but if you release the button you will instead deploy a shield. You can then detonate this when you start shooting again. Oh, and the enemies in the game are named after food. Yum!
