Redeem a Binance gift card in the Binance app under More, Gift Card, Redeem. Redeem a Gate gift card in the Gate app under Pay, Gift Card, Redeem Gift Card.
Crypto exchange gift cards are redeemed inside the exchange's own app or site, in your account there. Redeem them soon after delivery: these cards can expire.
01Binance gift card
In the Binance app:
- 1Sign in and tap More, then Gift Card.
- 2Open the Redeem tab and tap Redeem to crypto.
- 3Enter the redemption code from your order and tap Redeem. The funds are credited to your Binance wallet.
On the Binance website:
- 1Sign in and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click Gift Card.
- 2Enter the redemption code and click Redeem.
Binance says only verified Binance users can redeem gift cards, and that its gift cards expire 6 months after they are created.
02Gate gift card
- 1Open the Gate app and go to the Pay section.
- 2Select Gift Card.
- 3Select Redeem Gift Card.
- 4Paste the redemption code from your order and confirm. The amount is credited to your Gate account.
Gate says each redemption code can be used once, and that its gift cards may have an expiry date.
03Things to know
- Expiry: check the Terms tab on the card's product page. When the card has a validity period it is shown there as Validity. See Do gift cards expire?.
- Your country: the exchange decides who may redeem. Read the card's Terms tab before you buy.
- Code and serial: if your order shows a Code and a Serial, the redemption code is the Code.
04If that did not work
- Invalid code or a parameter error: copy the code again with Copy on your order page, and check that you are using the code, not the serial. See My gift card code is not working.
- Not available in your region: the exchange does not allow gift card redemption for your account. See Why can I not use my gift card in my country?.
- Already redeemed: check your gift card history and balance in the exchange first. See My gift card code says it was already redeemed.
