What do I pay at the hotel?

You pay the hotel only what is marked at the hotel on the rate, or Due at property on your booking. You pay KryptoMate the total shown at checkout, and we settle with the hotel. The amount due at the property is not included in that total.

01Where it is shown

Before booking

each rate shows the tax included in its price, and a line starting with a plus sign for any amount to pay at the hotel. In the search results you can filter for Nothing to pay at the hotel.

When you book

the booking step shows a Pay at the hotel line when there is one.

At checkout

the order summary has a Due at the property line when there is one.

After booking

the order page's Price tab shows Room rate, Taxes, Fees and the Total, and separately Due at property, described as paid to the hotel and not included in your total.

02What it can be

The hotel page gives a tourism tax as an example of an amount marked at the hotel. Extras you use during the stay, such as minibar or room service, are also paid at the property.

03Pay now and Pay at hotel

Rates are labelled Pay now or Pay at hotel, and you can filter results by Payment. Before you book, read the amounts on the rate and open its Rate conditions: they state the terms of that rate. What you pay KryptoMate is the total shown at checkout.

04If the hotel asks for more than shown

1. 1Ask the hotel what the charge is for.
2. 2Compare it with Due at property and Rate conditions on your booking.
3. 3If it does not match, contact support through the support widget or [email protected], if possible before you pay the hotel. Give your order number, the Confirmation ID, the hotel name and dates, and a photo of what the hotel is asking for.
