Redeem a PlayStation code under Redeem Code in PlayStation Store, an Xbox code under Redeem in the Store, and a Nintendo code under Enter Code in Nintendo eShop.
Console codes are redeemed in the console's own store, on an account whose country matches the code's region. The steps below follow each platform's official help. Your product's own steps, when it has them, are in its Activation details tab and under Show details on your order page.
01PlayStation
On PlayStation 5:
- 1Open PlayStation Store.
- 2Open the … (More) menu at the top of the Store and select Redeem Code.
- 3Enter the 12-digit code and select Redeem.
On PlayStation 4:
- 1Open PlayStation Store, scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and select Redeem Codes.
- 2Enter the 12-digit code, select Continue, then confirm.
In a browser: sign in to PlayStation Store, select your profile at the top, choose Redeem Code, enter the code and select Continue.
02Xbox
- 1Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select Store.
- 2Press the View button to open the side menu, then select Redeem.
- 3Enter the 25-character code, select Next and follow the prompts.
In a browser: sign in with your Microsoft account at xbox.com/redeem and enter the code. Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft account that should receive the game: a redeemed code cannot be moved to another account.
03Nintendo Switch
- 1Select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu.
- 2Select the account you want to use.
- 3Select Enter Code on the left side of the screen.
- 4Enter the 16-character download code and select OK.
04If your product is a console account
Some console products are accounts, not codes. The page shows This is an account, not a product key. See I bought a game account. How do I use it?.
05If that did not work
- A region message: the country of your console account does not match the code's region. See How do I check a game platform and region before buying?.
- The code is not recognised: copy it again from the order page, and check under Platform that the product is for your console.
- The store says the code was already used: see My game key is not working or was already used.
