Yes, you can buy Nigerian airtime and data with crypto on KryptoMate. Open the Nigeria top-up page, enter the number after the +234 code, pick the operator (MTN, Airtel, Glo Mobile or T2 Mobile when we checked) and choose an amount, then pay with USDT, Bitcoin or another of 200+ coins. No sign-up is needed: only the phone number for the top-up and an email for your order link.

How to top up a Nigerian number with crypto

  1. Go to Top-up: Nigeria. The Mobile tab is selected; other tabs may appear depending on what's offered.
  2. Step 1, Number: the +234 country code is already filled in. Type the rest of the number. Most Nigerian numbers are written locally with a leading 0 (for example 080…), so leave that 0 out when the code is already there.
  3. Step 2, Operator: when the number is complete, the operator is usually detected. Check it. If the number was moved to another network, choose the network it's on today.
  4. Step 3, Amount: choose airtime or a data bundle. Amounts run from 50 to 15,000 NGN depending on the provider. Data bundles show the data and how long it lasts before you pay.
  5. Read the number back in the summary, then add it to your cart and go to checkout.
  6. Enter your email and pick a payment method: On-Chain from any wallet or exchange, an exchange pay option such as Binance Pay, a Web3 wallet, or your Mate Wallet. The methods offered for your order are the ones shown at checkout.
  7. Pay before the countdown ends. Once the payment confirms, the top-up goes out and the order page shows Delivered.

Things to know before you top up in Nigeria

Operators and ported numbers

When we checked, the page listed MTN, Airtel, Glo Mobile and T2 Mobile (the network formerly known as 9mobile). Numbers can be moved between networks in Nigeria, so a prefix doesn't always tell you the network. If you're not sure, ask the person you're topping up which network they use now.

Airtime vs data

Airtime adds calling credit to the line. A data bundle adds a fixed amount of data for a fixed period. If someone mainly uses WhatsApp and the browser, a data bundle is often what they're asking for; check with them first, because airtime and data aren't interchangeable after delivery.

Amounts and prices

Each value shows what the number receives in naira and what you pay. Prices at checkout are in US dollars, and the exact crypto amount is calculated when the payment is created. The page lists the current amounts and prices, and they can change.

Delivery time

Most top-ups arrive within seconds of the payment confirming; a few providers take a few minutes. In rare cases it can take up to 24 hours. With On-Chain, the network confirmation comes first; the screen says this usually takes 10–30 minutes and moves on by itself. We email you when it's delivered.

Payment tips

USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) is a common choice for small amounts, because network fees on those chains are usually low; the networks offered are listed at checkout. Always send on the network you selected: other coins or networks can't be recovered. Network fees from your wallet or exchange aren't included, so send at least the exact amount. Card isn't available for top-ups.

Mistakes and refunds

A top-up applied to a number can't be reversed, and one sent to a wrong number you entered isn't refundable. If the top-up failed and wasn't applied, the Refund Policy covers it. Contact support quickly with your order number if anything looks wrong.

Frequently asked questions

When we checked, the Nigeria page listed MTN, Airtel, Glo Mobile and T2 Mobile. The list can change, so the Nigeria top-up page always shows what's available today. Only prepaid lines can be topped up.

Open the Nigeria top-up page and send airtime or data with the coin you hold.
