How do I install my eSIM?

You install the eSIM from your order page. On the phone itself, tap the install button. From another screen, scan the QR code with the phone. Manual entry is there as a fallback.

01Before you start

• Be online: the phone downloads the eSIM over Wi-Fi or mobile data.
• Install on the phone that will use the eSIM. The code installs once.
• Open your order: the private order link in your order email, or My eSIMs in your account.

02Install with the button

1. 1Open the order page on the phone that will use the eSIM.
2. 2Under Install your eSIM, tap Install on iPhone or Install on Android.
3. 3The phone opens eSIM setup with everything filled in. Follow it until the eSIM shows as added.

The iPhone button needs iOS 17.4 or later. The Android button works on recent Android phones. If nothing opens, use the QR code or manual entry.

03Install with the QR code

1. 1Show the QR code on another screen, such as a computer.
2. 2iPhone: open the Camera app and scan the code, tap the notification that appears and follow the steps. You can also start from Settings, Cellular (named Mobile Service or Mobile Data on some iPhones), and choose to add an eSIM.
3. 3Android: open Settings, go to the SIM settings and choose to add an eSIM, then scan the code. Menu names differ by maker. On a Google Pixel: Network & internet, SIMs, Add SIM, Set up an eSIM. On a Samsung Galaxy: Connections, SIM manager, Add eSIM, Scan QR code.
4. 4Confirm the download and wait until the eSIM shows as added. Keep the connection on until it finishes.

04Install manually

1. 1On the order page, open Manual entry and steps.
2. 2On the phone, start adding an eSIM as above and choose to enter the details manually.
3. 3iPhone: paste the SM-DP+ address and the Activation code.
4. 4Android: paste the full Activation string.

05After installing

• If the order page tells you to turn on Data Roaming for this eSIM, do so. It lets the eSIM connect abroad.
• If the order page shows Set this eSIM's APN to a value, enter that APN in the eSIM's settings. Otherwise it says the APN is set automatically.
• If the phone asks for a confirmation code you do not have, contact support.
