How do I buy a game key?

Find the game under Games, check its platform and region on the product page, and pay. The key is delivered to your order page, and the order email contains the link to that page.

01Steps

1. 1In the top menu, open Gaming, then Games.
2. 2Narrow the list with Platform and Genre, or open All filters for Product type, Region, Language and Delivery. You can also use Search games.
3. 3Select the game, then Full details to open its page.
4. 4Check Platform, Region and Product type in the details list. Read the Activation details tab when the product has one.
5. 5In the purchase panel, check the Can be activated in line. If it is followed by Cannot be activated in or Can only be activated in a number of countries, select View list and look for your country.
6. 6Set the Quantity and select Buy now, or Add to cart.
7. 7At checkout, enter your email if you are not signed in. Your codes and receipt are sent there. Choose a payment method and pay.

02What to expect

• The product page shows Instant delivery (0–24h) for games that are not pre-orders. Delivery is usually instant, but it might take 0–24 hours in rare cases.
• The key appears on your order page as a Code with a Copy button. Select Show details to read the product's instructions, when it has them.
• A pre-order is sent on release. See How do game pre-orders work?.

03If that did not work

• The button says Unavailable: the product cannot be bought at the moment, for example because it is out of stock.
• Only a few left: the page shows how many are in stock, and the quantity cannot go above that number.
• Card payment is not offered: card payment is not available for gift cards, games or top-ups. The methods offered for your order are the ones shown at checkout.
• You paid and the key has not arrived: see I paid but have not received my order.
