A Mate Card, or Mate Balance Card, is KryptoMate's own balance card. Its code adds its value to the Mate Wallet of the account that redeems it.
A Mate Card, also called a Mate Balance Card or KryptoMate voucher, is KryptoMate's own balance card. It is a code. When the code is redeemed, its full value is added to the Mate Wallet of that KryptoMate account, and the balance is then used to pay for orders on KryptoMate.
01What it is for
- Paying for orders from a balance, instead of making a new crypto payment for each order.
- Adding to the balance of your own account with a code.
The balance is for buying on KryptoMate; the site has no withdraw function. See Can I withdraw my Mate Wallet balance?.
02Buy one
- 1Open Gift cards and search for "Mate Card".
- 2Open the card and choose a value.
- 3Select Add to cart or Buy now, then pay at checkout. Mate Wallet balance cannot be used for this order, so choose another payment method.
- 4The code is delivered like other gift card codes: on your order page and to the email used for the order.
03Redeem it
You redeem the code in your account, under Wallet, with Redeem voucher. You need to be signed in. The steps are in How do I redeem a voucher or Mate Balance Card?.
04Rules to know before you buy
- Important: A Mate Balance Card bought while signed in can only be redeemed by the account that bought it. Another account sees the message "This card can only be redeemed by the account that purchased it." A card from an order placed without an account is not tied to an account.
- Five wrong codes in one day restrict the account. Paste the code instead of typing it. If your account is restricted, contact support to have it reviewed.
- Each code can be redeemed once. Treat it like cash.
- You cannot pay for a Mate Balance Card with your Mate Wallet balance.
- Buying a Mate Balance Card does not earn points.
05If that did not work
- The code is refused when you redeem it: see How do I redeem a voucher or Mate Balance Card?.
- The code has not arrived: see Where do I find my code after I pay?.
