How to buy an Amazon gift card with crypto

Gift cards6 min readLast checked 10 Oct 2026

Yes, you can buy an Amazon gift card with Bitcoin, USDT, USDC or any of 200+ coins on KryptoMate. Pick the card made for the Amazon site you shop on (Amazon.com for the US, Amazon.co.uk for the UK, and so on), choose a value, and pay with On-Chain, an exchange app or a Web3 wallet. The code usually arrives on your order page and by email within minutes.

How to buy an Amazon gift card with crypto on KryptoMate

  1. Open the Amazon page and choose the card for your marketplace, for example Amazon USA or Amazon UK. Check the "Redeemable in" line under the card name.
  2. Pick a value. The large figure is the card value in the card's currency; the small figure is what you pay. Prices on KryptoMate are shown in US dollars.
  3. Select Buy now, or Add to cart if you want more than one item.
  4. At checkout, enter your email address. That's where the order link and code go. An account is optional; it adds order history, points and the Mate Wallet.
  5. Under "How would you like to pay?", choose a method. On-Chain · 200+ coins lets you send crypto from any wallet or exchange: pick the coin, then the network, then send the exact amount shown to the address made for your order. You can also pay with an exchange app such as Binance Pay or Bybit Pay, or a Web3 wallet such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet. The methods offered for your order are the ones shown at checkout.
  6. Pay within the 30-minute countdown. Once the network picks up an On-Chain payment, the screen shows "Payment detected · confirming", which usually takes 10–30 minutes.
  7. When the payment confirms, the code appears on your order page with a Copy button, and we email you once your order is delivered.

Card payments aren't offered for gift cards, so plan to pay with crypto or your Mate Wallet balance.

Things to know before you buy

Pick the card for your Amazon site, not your location

Amazon runs a separate site for each country, and a gift card belongs to one of them. A US card is redeemed on Amazon.com, a UK card on Amazon.co.uk, a UAE card on Amazon.ae, and so on. What matters is the Amazon site where your account and orders live, not the country you're in when you buy. If you live in Germany but always order from Amazon.com, the US card is the one you want.

KryptoMate lists Amazon cards for the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Japan. Once redeemed, the balance stays on that one Amazon site. Amazon doesn't move it to another country's site or another account.

Denominations

Each Amazon card comes in fixed values in its own currency (dollars for the US card, pounds for the UK card, dirhams for the UAE card). The product page lists the values currently available; any that show "Unavailable" can't be bought right now. Each card is its own code, so three cards of 25 are three codes, not one code of 75.

What you'll pay

The summary shows the total in US dollars before you pay, and the exact crypto amount is calculated when the payment is created. Any fee is added in your order summary; On-Chain adds no payment fee (the order summary shows $0.00 for it). The fee your wallet or exchange charges to send coins is separate, so make sure at least the exact amount arrives.

How to redeem

  1. Sign in to the Amazon site that matches your card, with the account that should receive the balance.
  2. Go to your account's gift card section and choose to redeem a gift card. On Amazon.com you can go straight to amazon.com/redeem.
  3. Paste the claim code from your order page and apply it to your balance.

The balance is used automatically at checkout on eligible orders. Amazon decides what the balance can pay for, and some items can be excluded. The How to redeem and Terms tabs on the product page carry the steps for your exact card. Our help article How do I redeem Xbox, Nintendo, Netflix and Amazon gift cards? walks through them too.

Delivery

Delivery is usually instant, but it might take 0–24 hours in rare cases. The card page shows the delivery label before you buy. Delivery starts once your payment is confirmed.

Refunds

Digital codes are generally final once delivered. The Refund Policy applies: a code that's invalid or wasn't delivered can be reviewed, but a card bought for the wrong Amazon site or value by your own selection can't be refunded. Report any problem within 48 hours of delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Usually not. Amazon gift cards are tied to the Amazon site of their country, so a US card is redeemed on Amazon.com and a UK card on Amazon.co.uk. Buy the card that matches the Amazon site where you shop.
