USDT BEP-20 is USDT issued as a token on BNB Smart Chain, where BEP-20 is the token standard and BNB pays the network fee. To pay with it on KryptoMate, choose On-Chain at checkout, pick USDT with the network BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), and send the exact amount to the 0x address shown. The one real risk is the address itself: it looks the same on several networks, so the network you select in your wallet matters more than anything else.
How to pay with USDT BEP-20, step by step
- Add your gift card, game, eSIM, top-up or booking to the cart and go to checkout. Guests are asked for an email address only.
- On the payment step, under On-Chain, select On-Chain · 200+ coins, then Pay.
- In Choose a coin and network, search for USDT and choose the entry marked BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). Then select Continue to payment.
- Read the payment screen: the Network line, the Address (it begins with 0x) and the figure under Send exactly.
- Open your wallet or exchange and select USDT, then the network. Exchanges name it BSC, BEP20 or BNB Smart Chain; all three mean the same network.
- Paste the address with the Copy button or scan the QR code, enter the amount, and compare the network once more before you confirm.
- Send it as one transfer within the 30-minute countdown, select I've sent the payment, and let the page finish by itself.

What to know about BEP-20
BEP-20 in one paragraph
BNB Chain's own specification describes BEP-20 as an interface standard for token contracts on BNB Smart Chain, derived from Ethereum's ERC-20. BNB Smart Chain is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, which is why wallets such as MetaMask can use it and why its addresses look like Ethereum's. There's a short definition in the glossary too.
BNB pays the gas
On BNB Smart Chain, transaction fees are paid in BNB. If you send USDT from your own wallet, that wallet needs a little BNB as well, or the transfer won't go out. If you withdraw from an exchange, you don't need BNB: the exchange pays the network and charges you its own withdrawal fee, which it shows before you confirm.
On our side, the On-Chain method adds no payment fee. Network and withdrawal fees are yours and aren't included in the price, so make sure at least the exact amount arrives.
The 0x address is shared with other networks
A BNB Smart Chain address is 0x followed by 40 characters, 42 in total. Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism and Avalanche C-Chain use the same format. That has a consequence: the address on your payment screen is also a valid address on those networks, so your wallet or exchange will let you send to it on any of them without an error.
The address can't tell you which network to use. Only the Network line on the payment screen can. A payment is matched to your order when the coin, the network and the amount are the ones shown.
BEP-20 vs BEP-2
BEP-2 was the token format of BNB Beacon Chain, an older chain that BNB Chain has retired; its validator nodes were shut down in December 2024. If an old tutorial or wallet screen still offers "BEP2" or "BNB Beacon Chain", that is not the network our checkout uses. For USDT here it is always BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20).
TRC-20 vs BEP-20
| USDT TRC-20 | USDT BEP-20 | |
|---|---|---|
| Blockchain | Tron | BNB Smart Chain |
| Address starts with | T | 0x |
| Fee paid in | TRX | BNB |
| On-Chain at KryptoMate | Offered | Offered |
Both are in our coin list, so pick the one where you already hold USDT, or the one your exchange charges less to withdraw on. The Tron side is covered in USDT TRC-20: what it is and how to pay, and all networks side by side in USDT networks compared.
Sent it on the wrong network?
Because the 0x format is shared, the common mistake is sending USDT to the right address on a different network, for example Ethereum or Polygon instead of BNB Smart Chain. That transfer doesn't arrive as payment for your order, and blockchain transfers can't be reversed. Don't repeat the payment. Write to support with the order number and the transaction hash (TXID), and say which network you used. Cases are reviewed one by one, with no promise that funds can be returned. See what to do after a wrong payment.
Frequently asked questions
Nearly. BSC, short for BNB Smart Chain, is the blockchain; BEP-20 is the token standard used on it. On an exchange's withdrawal form, "BSC", "BEP20" and "BNB Smart Chain" point to the same network.
