Europe eSIM with crypto: one plan for many countries

eSIM5 min readLast checked 10 Oct 2026

Yes, you can buy a Europe eSIM on KryptoMate with Bitcoin, USDT and 200+ other coins, or by card. A regional plan from the Europe eSIM page covers many countries with one eSIM, so you don't need a new SIM at every border. Check the plan's country list, pay at checkout and get the QR code by email, usually within minutes.

How to buy a Europe eSIM with crypto

  1. Check your phone. Dial *#06#. If an EID number appears, the phone supports eSIM. It must also be unlocked. You can search your model on the compatible devices page.
  2. Open the Europe eSIM page. It shows the current regional plans and prices.
  3. Choose the type. Standard, Unlimited or Calls + text, where offered. Types not available are greyed out.
  4. Pick days and data. Each plan shows data, validity, coverage, networks, activation and whether it's Rechargeable.
  5. Open the country list. Check that every country on your route is listed under the plan's coverage.
  6. Add to cart, go to checkout, and enter your email or sign in.
  7. Pay. With On-Chain, pick a coin and network (for example USDT on Tron, BNB Smart Chain or Solana) and send the exact amount within 30 minutes. Exchange pay options, Web3 wallets, your Mate Wallet and cards may also be offered. The methods offered for your order are the ones shown at checkout.
  8. Install and travel. Install from the order page on Wi-Fi before you leave, then turn the eSIM on and set it as your data line when you arrive.

Things to know before you buy

Check the country list on the plan

"Europe" doesn't mean the same set of countries on every plan. Most regional plans cover the main EU destinations, but countries outside the EU, such as the UK, Switzerland, Turkey or some Balkan countries, aren't always included. The plan page lists every country it works in, and that list is what counts. If one country is missing, look at a global plan or a separate local plan, such as Turkey.

Regional plan or local plans

A regional plan suits trips that cross several borders: one install, one balance, no switching. If you're spending your whole trip in one country, a local plan for that country may fit your data needs more closely. Compare both on the eSIM page.

Data, calls and validity

Most Europe plans are data only, with no local number. The Calls + text filter shows plans with minutes and SMS where they're offered. Most plans start on first use, when the eSIM first connects to a supported network. If you live in a country the plan covers, keep the eSIM switched off until you leave, or the days may start at home.

Coverage and 5G

Coverage is generally good in cities and along main transport routes, and can be weaker in mountains, rural areas and on some trains through tunnels. The Networks line on the plan shows what it uses in each country. 5G is only available where the plan lists it.

Paying by card or crypto

eSIMs and eSIM top-ups can be paid by card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay), when every item in the cart allows it. On-Chain adds no payment fee (the order summary shows $0.00 for it). Other methods may add 0% to 1%, shown in your order summary. Your wallet's network fee isn't included, so send at least the exact amount. Prices are in US dollars.

Topping up on a long trip

If the plan is Rechargeable, you can add data from My eSIMs in your account while the plan is still running. Top-ups need an account; guests can add the eSIM to an account from its order page. Plans marked Not rechargeable need a new eSIM when they run out.

Refunds

The Refund Policy applies. An eSIM isn't refundable once activated or once any data is used, if it was bought for a phone without eSIM support, or if you used it outside the covered countries. A defective QR code, or a plan that can't be activated because of an issue on our end, can be refunded.
