eSIM5 min readLast checked 10 Oct 2026

Yes, you can buy a UAE eSIM with Bitcoin, USDT and 200+ other coins on KryptoMate, or pay by card. Pick a plan on the UAE eSIM page, pay at checkout and get the QR code by email, usually within minutes. Install it before you fly and switch it on when you land in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or any other emirate.

How to buy a UAE eSIM with crypto

  1. Check your phone. Dial *#06#. If an EID number shows, the phone supports eSIM. It must also be unlocked. You can search your model on the compatible devices page.
  2. Open the UAE eSIM page. It shows the current plans and prices.
  3. Choose the type. Standard, Unlimited or Calls + text, where offered for the UAE. Types not available are greyed out.
  4. Pick days and data. Each plan shows its data, validity, coverage, networks, activation and whether it's Rechargeable.
  5. Add to cart, then go to checkout and enter your email or sign in.
  6. Pay. With On-Chain, choose a coin and network and send the exact amount within 30 minutes. You can also use Binance Pay or another exchange pay option, a Web3 wallet, your Mate Wallet or a card. The methods offered for your order are the ones shown at checkout.
  7. Install at home. Use the install button on the order page from your phone, or scan the QR code from another screen. Do it on Wi-Fi.
  8. Turn it on after landing. Set the eSIM as your mobile data line and turn on data roaming for it if the order page tells you to.

Things to know before you buy

One plan covers all seven emirates

A local UAE plan works across the country, so Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates are covered by the same plan. If you're also visiting nearby countries, look at regional or global plans and read the country list on the plan page.

Calling apps in the UAE

Some internet voice and video calling apps have been restricted in the UAE, and what works can change. Messaging in those apps usually isn't affected. A data-only eSIM doesn't change local rules, so plan for this before you travel. If you need to make ordinary calls, check whether a Calls + text plan is offered for the UAE, or use your home SIM, which may charge roaming.

Data, calls and validity

Most UAE plans are data only, with no local number. That covers maps, ride-hailing, payments and messaging. Most plans start on first use, so the validity begins when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in the UAE. Check the Activation line on your plan.

Coverage and 5G

Mobile coverage is generally strong in cities and along main roads. It can be weaker deep in the desert. 5G is only available where the plan lists it in its Networks line, and your speed depends on your phone and location.

Paying by card or crypto

eSIMs and eSIM top-ups can be paid by card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay), as long as every item in your cart allows it. On-Chain adds no payment fee (the order summary shows $0.00 for it). Other methods may add 0% to 1%, shown in your order summary before you pay. Your wallet's network fee is yours, so send at least the exact amount. Prices are in US dollars.

Topping up

A Rechargeable plan can get more data from My eSIMs in your account. You need an account for this. Guests can add the eSIM to an account from the order page.

Refunds

The Refund Policy applies. An eSIM isn't refundable once activated or once any data is used, or if it was bought for a phone without eSIM support. A defective QR code, or a plan that can't be activated because of an issue on our end, can be refunded. Report problems within 48 hours of delivery.
