You can buy a Turkey eSIM on KryptoMate with Bitcoin, USDT and 200+ other coins, or with a card. Choose a local Turkey plan on the Turkey eSIM page, pay at checkout, and the QR code is emailed to you, usually within minutes. Install it at home on Wi-Fi and it starts working when you land.
How to buy a Turkey eSIM with crypto
- Check your phone. Dial
*#06#. An EID number means it supports eSIM. The phone also has to be unlocked. Look up your model on the compatible devices page if you're unsure. - Open the Turkey eSIM page. It lists the current plans and prices.
- Pick a type. Standard plans have a set amount of data. Unlimited and Calls + text can be chosen when Turkey has such plans; otherwise they're greyed out.
- Choose days and data. Pick how long your trip is, then a plan by its data. Check its coverage, networks, activation and whether it's rechargeable.
- Add to cart and go to checkout. Enter your email or sign in.
- Pay. Choose On-Chain and pick a coin and network (for example USDT on Tron or BTC on Bitcoin), then send the exact amount within 30 minutes. You can also pay with an exchange pay option, a Web3 wallet, your Mate Wallet or a card. The methods offered for your order are the ones shown at checkout.
- Install before you fly. Open the order email or page and use the install button on your phone, or scan the QR code from another screen.
- Switch on in Turkey. Turn the eSIM on, set it as your mobile data line, and turn on data roaming for it if the order page says so.
Things to know before you buy
Local Turkey plan or a wider plan
If you're only visiting Turkey, a local plan covers the whole country, from Istanbul to Cappadocia and the coast. If Turkey is one stop on a longer trip, look at regional or global plans too. Many Europe plans don't include Turkey, so check the country list on the plan page before you rely on one.
Data, calls and validity
Most Turkey plans are data only, which covers maps, ride apps, messaging and internet calling apps. A data-only plan doesn't give you a Turkish number. Most plans start on first use, so the days begin when the eSIM first connects in Turkey. Check the Activation line on your plan to be sure.
Phone registration in Turkey
Turkey has a phone registration (IMEI) rule for phones brought from abroad that are used with a Turkish SIM card for a longer stay. A travel eSIM data plan bought before your trip isn't generally treated the same way as a local Turkish SIM. If you're staying for months or planning to get a Turkish line, check the current official rules before you go.
Coverage on the ground
Coverage is usually good in cities and along main routes. It can be weaker in remote mountain areas, on some ferries and inside large old buildings. The plan's Networks line shows which networks it uses, and 5G is only available where the plan lists it.
Paying by card or crypto
Card payment is available for eSIMs and eSIM top-ups (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay), as long as every item in the cart allows it. On-Chain adds no payment fee (the order summary shows $0.00 for it). Other methods may add 0% to 1%, shown in your order summary. Your wallet's network fee isn't included, so send at least the exact amount. Prices are shown in US dollars.
Topping up
If your plan is Rechargeable, you can add data later from My eSIMs in your account. Top-ups need an account. If you bought as a guest, add the eSIM to your account from its order page first.
Refunds
The Refund Policy applies. An eSIM isn't refundable once activated or once any data is used, or if it was bought for a phone that doesn't support eSIM. A defective QR code or a plan that can't be activated because of an issue on our end can be refunded.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Choose On-Chain at checkout and pick BTC, USDT or another of 200+ coins, then its network. Exchange pay options such as Binance Pay and Web3 wallets work too. You can also pay by card for an eSIM.
