You redeem a Netflix gift card at netflix.com/redeem: enter the code, then the email of your Netflix account, or create an account on the spot. Netflix's region rule is about money, not borders. Its help centre says you can use a gift card bought in a different country as long as the card is in the same currency as your Netflix bill. So check which currency Netflix charges you in, and buy a card in that currency.

How to redeem a Netflix gift card

These are Netflix's steps for someone who already has an account.

  1. Copy the code from your order page with Copy.
  2. Go to netflix.com/redeem.
  3. Enter the code and click Redeem.
  4. Enter the email address associated with your Netflix account.
  5. Wait for the confirmation. After it, you can start watching.

Netflix adds the card's value to your account as a gift balance and takes your next payment from it. It says it will email you a reminder 7 days before the balance runs out.

If you don't have a Netflix account yet

The start is the same: go to netflix.com/redeem, enter the code and click Redeem. Then Netflix asks you to enter an email address and click Continue and Create Account, choose a plan, and create a password. It offers to add a payment method for when the gift balance ends; Netflix's page says you can skip that step.

Which region to buy

Netflix's currency rule

Netflix's gift card page has a section for cards bought in a different country. The rule there is one sentence long: the card can be used as long as it is in the same currency as your Netflix bill.

That gives three practical cases:

  • Same country, same currency. A card sold for your country in your billing currency is the plain choice.
  • Different country, same currency. Netflix's rule allows it. Several countries share a currency, the euro above all.
  • Different currency. Netflix's rule does not cover it. A US-dollar card on an account billed in pounds is outside what Netflix says it accepts.

What a Netflix card can pay for

Netflix says its gift cards can only be used for a Netflix streaming subscription. They can't be reloaded and are non-refundable. Without another payment method on file, you watch until the balance is used up. Changing your plan changes how fast the balance is spent.

Accounts that can't take a gift card

How you pay for NetflixWhat Netflix says
Directly to NetflixRedeem at netflix.com/redeem
Through AppleCancel, wait until the account closes, then restart it with the gift card
A Netflix-included packageKeep the card for later, or redeem it on a different Netflix account

Netflix says a gift card can be applied when you pay through a third party, except in the two cases in the table.

How that maps to our cards

From the KryptoMate catalogue on 11 Oct 2026. Each card's page has its "Redeemable in" line and its Terms. The catalogue has 13 more Netflix cards: see the Netflix page.

Start from your billing currency. Billed in US dollars: Netflix USA. In pounds: Netflix UK. In euros: Netflix EU or the card for your country. On the product page, the Redeemable in line shows where the card is meant for, and the Terms tab carries the card's own conditions; read both, because a seller's terms can be narrower than Netflix's general rule. We can't convert a card into another currency.

If the code doesn't work

The messages Netflix lists

  • "The code you entered has already been used." Netflix says the card has typically been redeemed on an account already. Check the Payment History or Membership page for the balance.
  • "The code entered is not valid." Check the code and enter it again. If it is correct, Netflix says the card may not be activated yet and suggests waiting 24 hours.
  • "An error occurred during gift redemption" or "Sorry, we are unable to process your request." Netflix says to go to netflix.com/clearcookies, which signs you out, then try netflix.com/redeem again.
  • "Gift cards and promo codes cannot be used with your current payment method." The account is billed through Apple or is linked to a Netflix-included package.

What to do on our side

Paste the code using Copy on your order page; do not type it. If Netflix says the code was used, look at your account's balance first, because a first attempt may have gone through.

If the code is still refused and its currency matches your bill, contact our support. Give the order number and a screenshot of Netflix's message, and keep the code itself out of the conversation. An invalid or undelivered code is reviewed under our Refund Policy if you report it within 48 hours of delivery. A card bought in the wrong currency or region by your own selection can't be refunded, and redeemed codes are final. My gift card code is not working explains what support will ask for.

Bought it with crypto?

Netflix receives a gift code and nothing about the payment behind it. For the order, see How to buy a Netflix gift card with crypto; for the payment, How to pay On-Chain.
